With over 11 years of experience, the people at Connemara Publications specialize in design aesthetics. The fundamental principles of design are balance, colour, contrast, emphasis, movement, proportion, alignment, texture, unity and white space. Connemara Publications carefully takes all of these principles into consideration when creating every design. The goal is to select and place appropriate elements within the work in order to communicate ideas and feelings to the viewer, helping you communicate your business message effectively to your target market. It is our job to advise and guide, and sometimes, even to dissuade you from a certain direction. In this way we help you achieve the best results for every business communication problem you encounter - with solutions that work. Applying the above principles we produce:
When the time comes to printWe have over 11 years of experience working with commercial printers throughout Ireland and abroad. Every printer has their strong and weak points. In every case, we try to match each job to suit our client's deadline, budget and desired output in terms of quality and finishing. We set realistic expectations with our clients based on the information they supply when matching them to a printer. There's more to print design than just the visual components. The elements of the digital file must be designed and set up so that they work for the medium on which they will be printed. In this pre-press work-flow, paper selection is important when developing a professional-looking piece. Different paper can reflect light differently, which can alter colours and the perception of the piece. A file that is not properly set up for print can end up costing the client more money in the long run. Here at Connemara Publications we have the expertise to get consistent results for our clients every time. We work with our clients to choose paper, arrange proofs, book press time and organise delivery. We encourage you to get in touch with us to discuss your needs. |
Many thanks for all your hard work - it was a pleasure working with you.

It is very gratifying that so far I have sold over 1000 copies which rather exceeds my expectations at this stage. I honestly don't think that would have been possible without your combined skills - so I owe you much! Anthony Previté, Oldchapel Press
"He has put us all in his debt with the spirit behind the writing of this book; the research which he and his friends have carried out; the actual writing and photography; and, finally, not least, the beautiful book which his publishers have provided".
We are working very hard on the all new edition of What's On coming in May of 2011. Read more.
